Dataiku Hackathon
- 1 minAt Dataiku’s headquarters in London, myself and a friend joined forces with three strangers (now friends!) to compete in the annual data science hackathon to commence the EGG LDN AI conference which we attended the next day.
Our team came second place, competing against professional data scientists. We used Dataiku’s software and extensive amounts of disorganised Kiva.org data to build a recommendation system to target users with lending opportunities similar to previous transactions on the platform.
It was a fantastic learning experience only made better by the conference the next day!
